Description
Aside from the Sentries, the Augustus-class cruisers were one of the more numerous ships seen during the Unification Wars. Used almost exclusively by the Earth Federation's predecessor, the EUN, they filled the role of escort for the newer Victory-class carriers. Despite being classified as a cruiser, it's armament was roughly comparable to that of a frigate or destroyer and were not particularly well-suited for ship-to-ship combat. However, given the urgent need of the war effort, they were produced in large quantities to offset their rather limited offensive capabilities.
