“After the Blaze”

Tyrannosaurus rex. Any acrylic painting of Helushka examining a chunk of his territory that experienced a seasonal wildfire not too long ago.

This was an idea that was spawned directly after watching Prehistoric Planet, namely the Forests episode. It also shows a more fleshed-out rendition of my updated Tyrannosaurus color design. This was also partially inspired by some great photos Douglas Henderson took of a recently fire-ravaged forest up in Yellowstone.

Completed in late June 2022.

Done using acrylics, color pencils, and Photoshop 2021.
