Description
Week II selections from my new "Whimsy" collection - simple and elegant wraps in silver filled wire - I just listed 41 new pieces in the collection.Having loads of fun - working within time limits, and also some other set parameters. Had a few challenging shapes, this time, that demanded I adjust the wrapping at the backs of the stones to enable them to sit properly when worn.
Left to right, top to bottom:
1. Golden Tiger Eye
2. Abalone Shell
3. Red Garnet
4. Red Aventurine
5. Freshwater Pearl
6. Amethyst
7. Botswana Agate

9. Red Jasper
10. Blue Tiger Eye
11. Amazonite
12. Hematite
13. Black Agate
14. Freshwater Pearl
15. Red Tiger Eye
16. Citrine

Oh, and I should be stocking the materials one would need to make these at Avera Studio Supplies @ etsy pretty soon. Plenty of cabochon-cut gems already; been listing like mad lately. XD

The red garnet and amethyst are my personal favourites. ;o; They are all really gorgeous, though!

The wire wrap accents the shape and coloration of each stone perfectly! Your designs have inspired me to make my own jewelry again. I'll be trying my hand at a byzantine chain necklace as soon as my materials come in.
