FOR THE LEARNS!This tutorial isn't meant to be taken totally seriously. Draw your cats however you please! It's your choice. Go easy on me, it's my first EVER tutorial ^.^'
I just wish I had studied the anatomy of the animals I was trying to draw when I was a Kid... Because it would have made a HUGE difference.
I just wanted to show the process I go through to draw everything and anything really. I always study the original form THOROUGHLY. This is what my Animation course has done to me

I use anime hair a little bit but either it is
-Short enough to show both eyes
-Long but doesn't show the eye it covers
-Long but closer to the middle so part of one eye is seen and the other is part/whole, depending on the style of hair.
-Or I'm drawing like an idiot just to play around with faces

Usually, I use the hair technique to give a cartoony effect but I only add the outlines of the eye.

Yes yes yes! The world needed this.. I'm not hating on anyone's art style, but I just dislike the manga/anime fringes of hair. Even then, seeing the eye through 'it' is ridiculous! I like a more realistic drawing, because it shows that not only the artist actually is 'good' at drawing, they take actual time and study cats and make a detailed picture. It's funny how people flock over the cartoon-cats when there is a beautiful masterpiece right here! However, anyone can draw how they want, so go ahead. Β
