What I recommend you to do if you'd like to exceed in your cat-drawing skills is to take a look at some pictures of cats in different poses and use them as references. Also use basic circle placements as shown here to get a sense of proportion and perspective.

This tutorial is very basic, just to help those starting out. There are plenty more tutorials on here that will help exceed your skills and improve your anatomy
