Description
So, I've finally gotten around to doing another set of sprites! This time it's magic users! The base for the Arch Sage, btw, is the Necromancer sprite from FE8. It looked a lot like the Arch Sages you see in RD, so yeah. It was perfect. xP
Also, while Druids exist in RD, Shamans do not, so I decided to rename them Dark Mages and have them promote to Dark Sages and then (Dark) Arch Sages (plus, I really don't like the way Druids look anyway).
Arch Sages, in my fanfic, can use staves and all types of magic, including light, dark, and anima (fire, thunder, wind).
Dark Mages only use dark magic while anima mages only use thunder, fire, and wind (called Fire Mages, Thunder Mages, and Wind Mages depending on which type of anima magic they are most skilled in).
Anima Sages can use staves and all forms of anima magic. They gain dark and light magic upon promotion to Arch Sage.
Dark Sages can use dark magic and staves and gain anima magic and light magic upon promotion to Arch Sage.
The Priest line...I don't think I need to explain, lol. They use staves and gain light magic when they promote. That's it. XD

Well, I never liked the way they looked. Radiant Dawn does have Druids though.

You didn't use the Druid sprite though. I rather feel that's an appropriate look for the dark magic user.

No, I didn't. I don't like the way that sprite looks. xP
Besides, they don't exist in RD anyway. Shamans do though. I know I thought at first it was the other way around, but I found I was mistaking when I last played RD.

It still strikes me as wierd that RD has dark magic but no Shamans or Druids. Still using the Shaman sprite like that for the Dark Mage/Dark Sage sprite was a smart move. It's also pretty cool how you modified the Necromancer sprite for the Anima Arch Sage. I'd like to say more but it's nearly one in the morning and I am dead on my feet. So, good night and I'll say more in the morning.

I can tell you were dead on your feet when writing that. You completely missed me saying that Shamans DO exist in RD. XD
Izuka is a Shaman and we meet a few more in the chapter where Ike and company have to burn down a Begnion supply camp (which is one of the coolest chapters in the game, imo).
But thanks, Falchion! :3

Funny, I assumed Izuka was a Druid, not a Shaman. My bad. It's too bad there aren't any Shamans with the good guys, since I saw what the Shaman unit looked like on YouTube, and it was cool. Thanks for the info as well and catch you later.

Well, I'm not exactly positive that Izuka and the rest of those dark magic guys are Shamans, but they looked like them to me, so yeah.
Still, whatever the case, I'm sticking by my Dark Mage/Dark Sage thing. xP

Okay. So, that leaves the Fighters/Warriors/Reavers, the Theif/Rogue/Whisper, the Assassin and what else?

There aren't any Assassins in DoD, so I'm not going to do that one. Thieves won't appear either. Rogues and Whispers will though.
So what's left is the Fighter line, Rogue and Whisper, and Cleric and Valkyrie. For beorc classes of course. We haven't gotten to the laguz yet (save for the Ranulf, Kiel, and Sara sprites, of course).

There are no Assassins? Then, what class is Volke? I also heard there are no Berserkers either, which was a bummer. Well, thanks for the info and catch you later.

Oh, Volke is an Assassin. But he's the only one in RD. So I figured I didn't need to include any in DoD since Kye is the only thief-type character I planned to include.
And yes, since Largo lost an arm between PoR and RD, there's no Berserkers.

So, I take there aren't any light-based mages/monks in Dawn of Darkness?
Sorry, I haven't had the time to read through it yet. It's on my list for the summer, though

Nope. Dawn of Darkness plays off of Radiant Dawn since it takes place in the same universe and includes a few of the same characters, and Monks don't exist there, so yeah.
And no problem, there's no need to rush.

Awesomeness. I look forward to it
