Description Finally, here's my last set of Fire Emblem beorc sprites! :>

As you can see, I heavily edited the Fighter line. My FE fanfic plays off of Radiant Dawn, plus I greatly prefer the way they look in that game anyway. That spiked shoulder armor and all are epic.

Also, in RD, Clerics and Valkyries can both use swords as well as staves.

The Rogue is technically the promoted form of a Thief, but no Thieves appear in either RD or my story, so I've omitted this class.

Next up, I begin doing the laguz! This'll definitely be a challenge, but I know I'm gonna have fun doing the dragons. :3

So, these are the last of the beorc classes? Dang, sometimes you work so fast it makes my head spin. I do like how you modifies the Fighter and Warrior sprites to look more RD-esque. I am wondering if you could have used the Berserker sprite for the Reaver, since there are no Berserkers in RD, but that's just a thought. I think I recognize the build you used for the sword eqipped Valkyrie, it's the Ranger from SS, right? Using the Assassin sprite for the Whisper was a smart move, but I'm curious about why you didn't use the Rogue sprite from SS for the Rogue here. I hope you don't mind my questions, I'm just curious. In any case, I look forward to seeing what comes next and catch you later.

Eh, Berserkers kinda look a little too bulky. xP

And for the Valkyrie, I just modified FE7's Valkyrie sprite. Priscilla promotes to one, you know. XD

And I didn't use FE8's Rogue sprite because RD's Rogues look different. A lot different. They more resemble FE8's Assassins, just without the hood. So I modified that sprite instead.

Thanks, Falchion. :3

That's too bad about the Berserker. Oh well. And, I know you modifies the FE7 Valkyrie, but the way she's holding the sword looks like another unit from FE8 called the Ranger. It was a knock-off of FE6/7's Nomad Trooper which, in FE8, was a promoted unit. You know how FE8 used a branching promotion tree and, in it, an Archer could promot to either a Sniper or a Ranger and, by that same token, a Mercenary could evolve into either a Hero or a Ranger? As I said, it almost looks like you used the Ranger's sword-equip pose in the Valkyrie's sword-equip sprite. It's too bad the Rogue from FE8 and FE10 are mismatched, but thanks for clearing that up.

Ah, I see. And I do know about FE8's branched promotions, I just didn't know that the way the Ranger held a sword was similar to how I made the Valkyrie hold one. xP

It DID work well though. I kinda wish they'd bring back that branching promote system, I enjoyed using it to experiment.

Eh, I don't really want it back. I don't like having to decide what to promote my units into. I don't want to end up choosing the wrong promotion and making a potentially great unit suck. In fact, this is one reason why I've never actually gotten far enough in the game to promote anyone. xP

Being able to experiment is nice though, I agree.

I have two tactics for getting around that problem. The first is to save to different slots so that I can reload a game from before such a screw-up. The other is to cheat using Action Replay.

Ah, I see. I'd have to go with the former though, since I don't have Action Replay. xP

If you don't plan on getting Action Replay (odds are it's easy to find on Amazon, but maybe you prefer figthign fair) then you could also take notes about what promotions work best for which character and keeping them on hand. I myself have a big binder that I use to keep information about the games I play. Such things as cheat codes, walkthroughs and important notes for future reference.

Ah, good idea. I've taken a few notes about my games in the past. That would definitely work.
