Finally, after working on these practically all day yesterday, I've finished my bird laguz sprites!The only herons we see in FE9 and 10 are royal herons, so we never know what color a regular heron is. Lehran had black wings, but actual characters usually have colors unique to them (like Ranulf being the only blue cat), plus, ravens are already black.
So I made the generic enemy heron blue. I decided on this because in real life, there's a heron called the great blue heron, and, as you might guess, it really is mostly blue lol. A light blue, but blue nonetheless.
And, as with the beast laguz, class up forms have been added as well. And, I've scrapped the "elite" prefix on them as well, since Falchion gave me better ideas. :3
Next and last but not least: Dragon laguz!

Wow, these came out great. The Majestic Heron looks especially great, especially the...cranial feathers? Well, whatever those ribbony feathers extending back from the head are called, those look especially great. The way you mad the Swift Raven and Raptor Hawks look more dangerous that their basic incarnations also came out great. That's also a nice tidbit on the great blue heron, I did not know about those. One thing I'm wondering is how promoted herons differ from normal herons. Maybe they have new abilities that didn't appear in the game? Well, please let me know and catch you later.

As for the heron, their magic is stronger. A Majestic Heron can affect people from far away like some staves can. Meaning, for example, if he were to reach this state, Reyson could use Vigor to make someone several squares away able to move again. Transformed, a Majestic Heron's magic can affect up to five people at once from far away (if you remember, a transformed normal heron can affect up to four people at once if all are on adjacent squares).

Nice! That'll make things good and interesting when the herons debut in the story. Do the hawks and ravens have any new talents of note or would you rather surprise me?

Other than automatically gaining their mastery skills, I haven't thought of any new abilities for them yet. If I do though, I'll be sure to let you know. :]

So far, I only attempted cat and dragon laguz. I have seen others but yours seem quite big and majestic

Well, I remembered that Ike described the bird laguz as being large birds in PoR, so yeah. 
And now that I think about it, I think I remember seeing one person who had attempted all three forms of laguz, but they weren't all that great, imo.
I also remember another person now, who attempted dragons, but they didn't look much like the laguz at all, if you ask me, aside from color.

And you haven't played either of those games?! You should if you like FE! They're the best games in the series, imo. And Ike is the awesomest lord character (in fact, I loved him so much, he's like my favorite video game character ever). :3

Yes, I have seen your beast sprite. I like the tiger and wolf, but the cat's head could be improved.
I wish, but I don't have a gamecube or a wii to play it. Most of the FE games I play are roms

And that sucks. You really should get a Wii. It can play either game, since the Wii has backwards compatibility with GC games.

Well, sadly I didn't had the chance to play FE10 yet.. >_> Oh, but anyways, it's not like it's better because it's black, I just though it suited it mor, probabily because the black outline. xD

No, only the tiger, the bird bodies (not the wings, got them from the Falcon Knight sprites), and the wings on the human forms of the birds were done from scratch.
The cat was partially done from scratch. I got its main body from the wolf monster in FE8 and constructed the tail and head myself. The wolf laguz is basically a recolor of said wolf monster lol.
The bodies of the human forms of all the laguz were heavily modified from the Sage sprite.
