People call Sakura useless without knowing what they are talking about. Tsunade doesn't amount to much more than a magical healing energy transmitter but you don't see anyone calling HER useless. She even nearly got her can handed to her by Kabuto.Sakura is a MEDIC!!! She isn't supposed to be on the front lines risking her tail. She stays in the back making sure the people fighting stay in one piece. I play a support character in most MMOs I play and I can vouch that support characters (like Sakura) aren't supposed to throw themselves into the middle of a fight. We stay back and make sure the rest of the team stay healed. Going into battle without a healer is suicide.

If she goes down noone else is getting back up. That's right, she the White Mage, and you don't F*** with the white mage!

I Know people go too far with Sakura saying she's totally useless, she is not. But is the same as with Hinata. Haters forget anything good she does and extreme fans forget her flaws and put her like this awesome kickass kunoichi xD With Sakura is the same thing, but I think is a little worst because we actually see more of her and she is suppose to be a lead character (So haters have more to hate and fans more to love)
All characters have their flaws and their good things. I Always thought that a real fan can actually appreciate both and actually be very critic on the flaws not just stand and try to justify them (Is like having a girlfriend or boyfriend, you cannot be blind to their defects or justify them, you simple live with them and since they are real persons try to work out those things xD)
But in Sakura's case the real problem is actually Kishimoto, I think that he haven't decided what is what he want of her or for what he need her (To be a very active member of the shinobi allegiance standing by herself or to be there to make another character achieve hero points xD) Maybe he does this on purpose so fans start this internet wars XD
But one thing is true, you don't need to be the strongest shinobi to win a fight (That seems the only way to not be call useless by fans this days). Just look at Shikamaru, his stats aren't the highest and he could took Hidan down (With time and knowledge)

Very well said. Kishimoto has admitted to being able to write female parts very well, AND admits to totally forgetting about his female Characters on occasion. So it really is unfair to them. I felt really bad about it so I started

I think the most people have problems with her because she is very emotional and crys more often than all the other characters in this show.
But this is normal if you have such a dangerous life and lost precious friends and fighting in a war etc.

The Zetsu she defeated wasn't just any Zetsu, it was an invader in the medical corps. I swear they didn't read any part before this one. She *very cleverly* tricked the White Zetsu into revealing his secret. If she hadn't done that, then practically all of the medical ninjas wouldve died and the others can kiss their limbs/lives goodbye.

Please don't take this as offensive , but....Sakura is one of the very few best Medical Ninjas in the Five Great Nations , Ino knows a few things about Medicals , but she's good , and don't forget , InoShikaCho always work together , they complete each other , soooo ... Is that your ONLY reason you hate Sakura? :\

sakura is specially trained to be a medic and is a commander as shown by her dishing out orders to everyone in pain arc and the war. the kages werent on the front lines either

Ino is specially trained to work with Shikamaru and Choji. She isn't specifically a medic she just has medic skills. There is a reason InoShikaCho exists.

And no matter if it's about teamwork or solo, Ino fought in frontlines even she is a "white mage"/medic, so being a medic is not an acceptable excuse for Sakura (who is supposed to be much stronger than her according to Kakashi) to hiding behind rocks and warm her butts in camps while others are fightning frontlines.
But of course, it's just my (and the wikia's) thoughts...

Sakura is a specialty medic. Tsunade gave her enough combat training to defend herself if the need arises but mostly she was taught to stay out of harms way BY TSUNADE HERSELF so she can heal others.
Hating Sakura is like hating your doctor just because he doesn't shoot up criminals too. She just healed your sorry ass, so just shut up.

I swear, everyone picks what parts of the manga they want to read. Tsunade trained her to stay OUT of the fight and heal on the back lines, not throw herself into the middle of the fray. She has enough training to defend herself is needed.
And before you go pulling the whole "Ino's a medic" card on me, Ino isn't a SPECIALIST medic. Yes, Ino is classified as a medic but it isn't her only skillset. InoShikaCho exists for a reason. Sakura is Specialist, I.E. not supposed to be on the battlefield.

remain calm, dont belittle my opinion until you see where im coming from. people dont say sakura is useless because shes weak. people say sakura is useless because she makes terrible decisions. or at least thats my perspective. tsunade trained sakura to have the ability to blow craters into the earth, how is that an outside fight ability? ive read all of the manga, and...i wasnt really going to say anything about ino. getting back to topic though tsunade, as you said, did train sakura to be a medic, that is probably the most useful part about her, but thats as useful as it gets. even if sakura did progress, so did everyone else in narutoverse. she may be more useful but she is still the most useless. now, mind you, this is simply my opinion, so please if this offends you in any way shape or form i just want you to keep that in mind.
by the way, sakura herself wants to be on the battlefield, hence the reason she tried to kill sasuke herself (that plan went horribly wrong)

You don't talk to many other Sakura haters do you? It's all I've ever heard. She makes the descisions she makes because she cares about people. And if she is TOLD that she is need in the medic tent, well there's really not much she can do about that.
And why do people even try to find people who are usless anyway?! Do you people just WANT someone to hate?! You won't call her useless when your body is half eviscerated and she keeps you from dying. Sure the medic is useless because fighters are the most important people EVER.

she was told by kakashi to throw her emotions out the window, because they will only get in the way. i mean, sasuke didnt do that either and look at where he is now? hes become a vengeful backstabbing bastard. do i feel that sakura will follow him? no..no i dont, she tried to kill him i see no reason why shed follow him. and we dont just "search" for people who are useless in the series, useless people in a series stand out, and when they stand out, people notice. and when people notice, they comment on such things. i mean someone elses opinion on an anime character cant possibly bother you that much can it? i see your a sakura fan and im fine with that, however ive noticed that its sakura whose flaws happen to stand out, if thats not true in your book, then again, thats ok, sakura herself has even stated that she needs to become better. if theres one thing that i do admire about sakura is the willpower she had to ditch the loser sasuke and try to kill him herself, while that was a bold move it means shes learned that hes far too gone to save now.

Oh wow, so she is useful, because she managed to knock out a Zetsu Clone, what every second character can? LOL... She suppossed to be a main character, still every second characters beats her up, like Omoi, Zetsu clones ect... And if she isn't usefull, why she must be saved always be everyone (Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, Lee, Ino ect...)?

Nope, she didn't defeated Sasori, she was just there, AND helped Chiyo, but in the end, Chiyo had both to save save her and finish Sasori off. And to crown to this she was defeated by Omoi, a meaningless random character with only one kick! _
And Kakashi said she could, but as you see, she don't even try, she just want someone who could be used out for her problems.
