Description
I suppose this can pass as my Autumn Tempest piece - means that I now only have two more to goApologies for the roughness of the colouring.
And the appalling proportions.
Well, the general crudiness

As said before, the watercolours are nice indeed. The overall mood of the picture inspires me to write about rainy days and a cozy cup of tea in front of a fireplace, together with the autumn jester! The only thing I can say against it is her mid-part, you haven't really catched that sitting position. But really, a good work! I think I'll use someone like her in the fic I'm writing, if that's okay with you?

Sure, go ahead XD - I don't really use my original characters very much.
Ah. Well .. I don't actually know what type of pose she's in; I hadn't intended to make her 'sit' +__+
Thanks!

An interesting costume. Her body looks a little shapeless, but it makes her look more scare-crow like so I guess it works. As always, I love your choice of colors.

I was going to just draw a whole lot of cloth instead of feet. Then I realised that I can't paint folds, and opted for misproportions instead T_T
The colours vary alot more than intended; was experimenting with different amounts of black and grey. It's rather difficult to maintain the same colour when mixing watercolours . Even varying amounts of water can make such a difference. ..

i like the way you used lines and rougher colors to portray texture, and this piece definitly surpasses my drawing ability. I LOVE IT! !!!!!!

However rough you may think it is, this is a wonderful work of art.
Her posture, the details with her hands, the layers of clothes, the various shadings;
It never ceases to amaze me what a wonder artist you are.

Erm ..
It was the first time I succeeded in not gouging a whole in the paper with the paintbrush! *feels accomplished*. Costume ideas were influenced by Cirque du Soleil; was watching TV while sketching XD
Thanks again (said that so many times today +____+)

A quote by Randy "Ryo" MaClean from FAKE. Not exactly what he's REALLY talking about, but it was the first quote that I could think of. Sue me?

Amazing watercolouring! I think it's very hard to paint with watercolours without everything becoming a mess.
I like her pose. Very nice!

Lol; you should have seen it before I'd added the lineart X__X. And, if the mess wasn't on the paper, it was everywhere else (table, hands, paintpot *guilt*)
Thanks

no way! i love how it looks like that, makes it seem more er..traditional art, and not like you're trying to mimick digital specs n stuff! very nice texture on the piece, i think you should keep it as is

Thanks very much
I don't usually do works in watercolour, so I feel really awkward doing any sort of finer pieces with it. I didn't plan to go over places in fineliner, but it was really vague before doing so.
Anyway, thanks again
