not something i usually do....traditional art!this is a conceptual piece i did last semester of the short story "The Magic Paintbrush", some of you may know it
This was done with Calligraphy inks

Wow it's amazing how many shades you manage to make! It's incredible! This may be a stupid question.. but is the background, the "watermarks", made only by ink, water and brush? I'm still quite unpracticed with inks, I'm quite clumsy, that's why I ask, hehe.

I think I've seen an animation of that story once... was it about a kid who had a magic paintbrush, and anything he painted came alive and then the emperor heard about it?
