Description
While I was laying there and focusing on some marmots, I felt that little tap on my shoulder. This little guy was hoping to get some food from me. Unfortunately I haven't had any more and he left again. This shot was taken by fellow photographer Sandie - thanks for capturing that wonderful moment. Some of her images can be found here ... [link]
On behalf of Sandie, I'd also like to thank [link] and [link] for the Daily Deviation.

AWWWWWWWWW!
It's not everyday something so special happens, is it? :-D But, how typical, you had no food to give, so his interest waned XD I remember this one time I went to a zoo where you could pet/feed giraffes... the giraffes wouldn't come to you unless you had crackers for them. ^^

Animals are no philosophers - what they think makes sense

Hi there! I was just wondering if you submitted (or allowed someone you know to do so) this to the National Geographic Photo Contest? [link] I just thought I'd shoot you the link, just in case you didn't. I love this photo, and I would hate to think that someone else was taking credit for it.

Thanks for the heads up. This is OK - Sandy Lindenthal actually IS the one who took this picture of me and the marmot and she's the one who submitted the image to NG.

Oh, alright. Sorry to bother you! I had a feeling that something like that was probably the case, but I thought it was better to check than assume.

No worries - I have to thank you ... especially this shot has been "stolen" quite a few times already.
