Description
Source of LifeThis is a small but wonderful place - unfortunately it's locked up most of the time.
These springs provide a lot of the drinking water for Vienna. The water is collected from underground. Whatever is too much, is flowing down the slope in a lot of little creeks. I will call the authorities there and try to get an hour of shooting, so I can take some more images from there.

I agree with Hougaard that branch would be better gone, apart from that lovely shot

haha Sounds like you will have some of very few pictures of this unique place. I love your composure in this photograph. Great angles, and it doesn't run right down the middle of the screen, which adds alot of character. Perfect exposure brings just the right amount of light to the picture. I love your extended shutter speed that adds the whispering effect to the water as it rushes down the hill. Brilliantly done, very well composed, perfect picture! *And on that branch, it adds character in my opinion.*

I guess there are a lot of images of this places as one can shoot the waterfalls from the street on the other side of the river. There are always some bikers taking pictures of the place with their cellphones. But I guess there are only a few "photographers" who have captured that place. So far I haven't seen any decent image from there.
Thanks about your view of the branch. I couldn't have removed that one anyway, so that's the best I could have come up with.

Cellphones make 'great' myspace pictures, but other than that that's about all they are good for. This world is huge, so even if a photographer did get a couple of great images from there, my guess is you won't have to worry too much about bumping elbows with them.

stunning waterfall, it's just a shame about that branch...and I feel it can go a stop brighter?

Yeah ... that branch bothered me too. I tried to include it in the flow of the water - that was the best I could do.
The somewhat dark image has two reasons. For one it really was clouded at the moment and this is quite close to the mood. Second - I made a brighter exposure too, but unfortunately the wind was too strong and a lot of the leafs are blurry.
Thanks for the thoughts, Houggard - I appreciate your time.

Yeah - I love to shoot water. Besides that I'm just starting to hike to the mountains, so I do some lower elevation locations before. Thanks for the comment.
