Description
Golling - RevisitI've taken pretty much the same shot when I had my 5D. Now with the 5DMII I wanted to recreate the shot to profit from the better resolution and dynamic range. Also the water was a little more pleasing then in my old version.
A second exposure was necessary to save the highlights in the water. Midtones were improved through Tony Kuypers Luminosity Masks - [link]

perfect shutter speed... i like the fluid motion of long shutter speeds, but not so long that you loose texture. great work!

Very nicely composed. Although its not really conventional the balance between the parts fo the image is strong. Nice shot.

Thanks for your thoughts. The rocks are pretty much close to real conditions. I just put a little blue into to water cause I prefer it that way. It was a rather overcast day and light was on the cooler side.

Really nice location, and a good shot to go with it. I must admit it looks a tad oversharpened though.
