Description
I've been toying with the idea of taking images from both the Western and Eastern Zodiacs and thought I'd combine them into a singular entity. In this case, my own personal birthday (Scorpio born during the Year of the Dog) would yield a wolf-based scorpion monster.Submitted to Digital Art Fantasy's Our Guardians contest (www.deviantart.com/digital-art… ).
Rough pencil sketch to begin with before being painted over in Photoshop.
