A quick sketch showcasing the Tengu from Japanese folklore. Tengu appear in various myths and fables, but the one that comes most to my mind involves the tale where the mountain Tengu Sojobo teaches the young samurai Minamoto no Yoshitsune the art of swordsmanship. It's this story, in particular, that inspired me to create this piece.Created in 2B pencil.
