mainly my fondness for Thomas, I guess. seeing that face so often over the years makes me like looking at it more than anything.
Though if the creepy factor is the way the face is badly textured, I can see the issue. Though to me, it looks more goofy than anything, like someone stuck a fishbowl or magnifying glass on his face.
