You think they would also use their voices. *Coming from the ME wiki* "Their hyoid bone, located in their throats, is particularly developed. This allows them to inflate their throats and produce vocal sounds outside of the human range" So the Shade should have a screech, similar to Banshee's, but that temporarily deafens the listener.

With these Reaper nano-tech enhancements,Shades are stronger and more agile than the species they reigned from,allowing them to be very flexible and acrobatic in physical combat. This agility is made even deadlier by the additional grafting of blade gauntlets onto their forearms,which they use to slash at enemies as well as focus pulses of biotic energyfor ranged combat. Sheesh! As if the Drell didn't have enough problems with losing their homeworld, winding up on a waterworld that messes with their respiratory system...now they wind up being indoctrinated, too?! These poor guys have it rough.

Drell husks, Shades are some of the most feared Reaper forces. Alliance soldiers have compared them to Cerberus Phantoms in their fighting style. Reaper nanotech enhances the drell's natural agility. Shades are also known to spray their victims with a hallucinogenic mist to tip combat scenarios in their favor.

This should be even more dangerous then the banshee. And make a low, nearly drowning like gurgling/growling noise. Or maybe a 'Grudge' like sound. I swear if I hear that and a Banshee scream together my hairs will stand straight up.

i was actually just thinking about this today. Only i was thinking of the Drell as crazy fast reapers with minimal health and if you got close they'd disperse a biotic pulse or something

I can just picture a situation, where if you made a poor decision, one of your teammates gets indoctrinated and turned into a reaper thrall, in this case thane.
"Thane?" whispered shepard, her pistol leveled at the abomination before her
The husk turned to face shepard, staring at her with a cold gaze, before advancing with reluctant steps
"I wasn't strong enough Siha" it replied in a cold voice.
