Description Been out of town for a week and the whole time I just wanted to get home so I could do more of these reaper variants, so glad to be back!

My reaper Krogan units act much like the geth pyromancers in that they're heavily armored and meant to get in and blast the players out of hiding spots with a flamethrower.

I thought this was a reaper vorcha originally.

I like this design a lot more than the canon design, which I felt would have worked better as a twisted Elcor or something.

Love this

I know i might be late to this train but...if that ever gets put into any Mass Effect game or fan game,i'm not fighting that up close,i'ma just go to the far end of the corridor and snipe it.

Amazing how such designs didn't actually end up in the game. Thank you such creativity.

That brain >_> ok I wouldn't want to fight that haha - "blast the players out of hiding spots with a flamethrower" - right, creepy (said in Alistair voice)

Somehow... I could see the call sign for these guys being something either like "Dragons" or "Torchbugs".

I've always wondered why I didn't see Krogan Reapers. There are plenty of Turian Reapers and even the brutes had Turian heads, when Yahgs would have made more sense. Then vorcha were also ignored, when they were part of society as well. Bioware probably got lazy on the number of Reaper types they wanted to work on, or maybe there was another reason behind it. Regardless, I love your Reaper designs. Better than the ones in the game, actually.

Brutes are Turian/Krogan hybrids. Also Krogans, are rare race (genophage) so its just better to make them all brutes.

Yahgs were specificity stated as not a target for the reapers, Otherwise so more enemy types would make sense,

Berserker:

This husk variant is the result of converting a Krogan by the Reapers. Like the species they were created from,Berserkers are tough and fierce, having strong armor plating that can resist small-arms fire. They're equipped with Reaper-made incinerators, which are designed to flush enemies out of cover and into the open. As a Berserker advances and the enemy is out in the open in close-quarters,they enter a "berserk" state, whereby it charges straight into its opponent in the hopes of bashing the unlucky soul with its head and fists. Additionally,if gunfire or tech/biotic abilities manage to damage their skin underneath their armor plating,Berserkers can partially heal themselves if given time, though it's only a small portion & much slower than a Gargoyle.

Is the question a compliment or just genuine? Because I came up with it based on previously posted ideas and modified it into something that could fit in the game if it were ever made

Eh, Idk What should I anwser. This is from Mass Effect series, BUT this does not exist in mass effect triology, it is just fan made idea. Maybe those "Cannibals" are closest to krogan reapers

alamer In reply to Brony254 [2012-09-28 22:05:24 +0000 UTC]

Cannibals are actually batarians. The only known reaper units involving krogans are Brutes, which are a turian-krogan hybrid according to the mass effect wikia. Reapers also have a seperate, turian only unit (the marauder) though so this would be a good take on a pure krogan unit.

I really feel the Brute should have just been a reaper Krogan instead of a Krogan Turian hybrid. Anyway, awesome design as always.

Yeah I would have thought out of all the creatures they wouldn't pass up doing a straight normal huskified Krogan.
Instead all they got around to doing was the Brute.

The Beaserker

A Beaserker is a Krogan turned husk and are the shock troops of the Reaper armies. Like normal Krogan, Beaserker are strong, fast, and increable tough, all of which has been increased thanks to the Reaper implants. They are covered in thick boney plates that are three times harder than the Krogan's own natural body armor as while as regenerate twice as fast. Their one weakness is that, like Krogan, Beaserker's eyes are closer to the sides of their head making aiming long range weapons, such as sniper rifles, difficult so Alliance solders are advised to kill at a distance before the Beaserkers can close the distance.

In battle Beaserkers are the first to charge the enemy, ripping through enemy lines and creating as much distruction as possible while being supported by lighter solders.
