I really like the second one. Β I think the crest suits the idea of an Avian race. Β Though that plate around the eyes makes it look like they'd have great difficulty with vision forwards and a fair bit of sideways. Β Still, very cool.

that's a good point, if I ever come back to this I'll prob move the eye a bit back from the ridge of the crest or make it protrude more

Or maybe they have limited eye-shight like real life birds and have to turn their heads to see what is straight ahead? Pretty much Avian like that for me.
