Description Models are a continuous problem, as different body shapes are needed for different sculptures.
Well that could not be more relevant with this particular fantasy sculpture. Finding somebody that was definitely fat (but in the right way) for the sculpture was amusing, as I had to ask the models over the phone to describe their particular type of body shape.
Luckily nobody was too offended and I got the perfect model in the end. The nature of my work means that the models all have to have a good sense of humour and not mind the final outcome of the sculpture.
I wish the same could be said of the dinosaur who turned out to be a right Prima Donna!.

Bizarre, Comical and Interesting. Though real ornithomimids probably had feathers, but since it's just a fantasy thing and i'd imagine feathers would be a pain to make, I don't think it's all that big of a deal.

The sculpture is amazing in its nonsens...iness? I don't know.

I lol'd at "I wish the same could be said of the dinosaur who turned out to be a right Prima Donna!", becaure it's an incredibly funny mental image.

Awesome work. It's good to hear things turned out well and you got the right model for your piece. Dinsaurs are always like that though. Not much you can do about it (except maybe not do any work with them)

In before 'What, no feathers'? Just kidding! Actually I love the organic look of the dinosaur's legs. Looking at it makes me curious if it would taste like a turkey leg if grilled in the same manner.
