Pulsar is one of my oldest superheroes. In terms of power, he can be compared with such characters as Superman, Wonder Woman, the Martian Manhunter, and the like. Biography

Benjamin Grant was born in Los Angeles, California, into the family of one of the richest and most influential businessmen in the city, Christopher and Dolores Grant.

When Ben was three years old, his parents died in a car accident. Ben was raised by their housekeeper, Sophia Mendez, who became Ben's second mother.

From childhood, Ben was fond of airplanes, spaceships, and space, so after high school, he entered the Institute of Aerospace, where he received an engineering degree.

After graduation, Ben returned to Los Angeles, where he began investing in real estate and doing charity work.

The extraordinary find

One day, while snowboarding at a ski resort in the mountains of Alaska, Ben deviates from the route and falls into a deep gorge hidden under the snow. He falls into a network of huge caves that lead him to an ancient spaceship that crashed millions of years ago.

Cirz'qad (eng. Pulsar) is a warehouse-class space warship. The warship fell to Earth at the beginning of the Cenozoic era, approximately 66 million years ago. It was shot down by another spaceship, and the integrity of Cirz'qad was broken. The warship crashed into the planet closest to it at that time. Almost the entire crew of the ship died in a collision with the Earth, and those who survived left the ship and never returned. The warship itself is incredibly large; it is comparable in size to a football stadium.

Cirz'qad is a military warehouse of sorts and stores an unbelievable amount of different alien weapons, vehicles, and other technology that is still far advanced compared to ours. The ship itself is controlled by an artificial intelligence named Xionix, who has kept the warship in good condition all these millions of years.

When Grant first got on the ship, Xionix was hostile to him and tried to kill him, but they soon became friends.

Initially, Ben used the alien technologies solely for his own needs, but he soon decided to use them to help others.

Over time, Ben assembled a costume of alien gadgets and technology for himself. He took the name Pulsar, "the name of the spaceship," and began to pursue a super-heroic career.

Powers and abilities

At first glance, it may seem that Pulsar has powers and abilities, but in fact he does not. Ben Grant is an ordinary person; he doesn't have any superpowers, and his physical abilities are no higher than those of an average sportsman. However, the man has at his disposal a whole spaceship jam-packed with various extraterrestrial technologies and gadgets. Out of this, Grant put together a kind of super-costume for himself, although in fact, it's just a bunch of various devices.

Spaceship pilot uniform

The uniform consists of a very strong and elastic material and has self-regenerating tissues capable of being repaired after damage. The uniform has five sockets into which technological chips are inserted; each chip has special properties.
1. Visor

A forehead chip or visor is capable of computing various data and measuring the condition and characteristics of an object, for example, its height, weight, weaknesses, etc. The visor provides information to Pulsar in the form of augmented reality.

2. Protection

The second chip is located below the chest between the pectoral and abdominal muscles. This chip constantly generates an invisible kinetic aura that protects Pulsar from physical and energy damage. The aura also creates its own atmosphere within itself, allowing Pulsar to be in outer space or deep underwater.

3. Flight

The anti-gravity chip is located at the level of the belt, below the navel. The chip allows Pulsar to both float and fly at high speeds.

4. Control

This chip is a kind of control panel for the entire spaceship. It is inserted on the left hand on the wrist area under the palm. The chip has a holographic keyboard and a screen. Most of the spaceship's technologies and the ship itself are digitally connected, just like the internet. With this, Pulsar can interact with and control his costume and alien technology at will, change their properties and characteristics, and call and control various vehicles and drones.

Located on the right hand, the chip allows Pulsar to hack into various electronic systems and devices, such as mobile phones, computers, etc.

A couple of alien devices allow Pulsar to attach himself to any wall or ceiling and walk on it like he's on the ground.

Drones

Pulsar has a small station attached to his back with two small flying drones. They can be controlled by both Pulsar himself and Xionix, the artificial intelligence of the spaceship. Drones have a reconnaissance function but are also armed with small, non-lethal weapons.

Impulse bracelets

The weapon looks like a combination of bracelets and brass knuckles. They shoot a powerful burst of plasma and have several modes: super fast shooting, medium but more accurate shooting, and slow but very powerful shooting. The weapons also have a melee mode; bracelets create a small energy blade half a meter long.

Matter manipulators

Matter manipulators, or MM, are gloves that allow Pulsar to interact with objects at a distance. MM generates energy in the likeness of a field of zero-point oscillations, or rather, an anti-gravitational field. Any object that enters the field loses its mass and weight. Using MM, Pulsar is able to lift light, medium, or heavy objects such as cars, planes, or ships. With the help of MM, the hero can both attract objects to himself and throw them away with incredible force. MM gloves can interact with both solid and liquid materials, such as water or lava. Matter manipulators are capable of lifting both inanimate and living objects. However, the larger and heavier the object, the faster the MM batteries will be discharged.

Also at the disposal of Pulsar are other devices and tools from the spaceship, including various types of vehicles.

Xionix (Xin) is an incredibly advanced artificial intelligence that is at least 66 million years old and still exceeds the level of development of our AI. For Pulsar, Xin is an indispensable assistant, adviser, and someone with whom he can just chat.

Benjamin is highly intelligent; he has a degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering. The man is a good xenotechnologist. (Xenotechnology is a science that studies extraterrestrial and unknown technologies for mankind.) He studies alien technologies found on the spaceship and is an expert in some of them.From childhood, Grant attended various clubs such as swimming, horseback riding, karate, and shooting firearms. Also, Ben is an experienced driver and pilot.
