Description
This is another draw again thing. I drew something kinda similar a while back and I wanted to draw a new version of it again to showcase my updated skills. This is the original:I know the original looks more like she's cat "colored" (I wanted to give her a seal-point Siamese look) but the coloring got lost in the lighting. This updated one is basically just human-skin colored because of that. Pretend she's some sort of hybrid (which, I mean, she is.)
Spent many an hour in Photoshop on this.

Hy, I'm from ProjectComment
I really love you add cat ears and cat tail in this picture, I love cat girl.
It adds some sexiness in your artwork. You've great skill in shading, I love the eye and the tattoo at her body.

Came here from Project Comment and this caught my eye, honestly.
Firstly, the details are amazing! It's obvious that you spent a LOT of time on this piece. The textures are rich and varied, making this piece much more realistic. Your coloring is neat and your shading is... well... It's very well defined? No, chiaroscuro is the word for it. It looks like a painting that utilizes the chiaroscuro technique, which makes it more realistic in coloring than your last one (imo). This is very intense and it's like being in a heavily perfumed room, the lights are dim, and this dancer is seducing you. I don't get how you shaded the breasts, since everything else has lighting from below. I don't know man, it just makes me uncomfortable.
I think that anatomically, the piece is rather realistic. My pointers would be for you to look at the hands and fingers. They look realistic but they also don't at the same time. They feel a bit unnatural, especially the one on the left. I tried to imitate it but I couldn't figure out which finger was which. Her right hand makes more sense to me, except for the thumb. It probably is okay to the world, I just think it kind of looks funny. Not in a bad way, but I just, find it interesting. A pink thing that you know is her hand but you also do a double take over because of the netting. IRL, I'd probably look again because nets have a way of confusing and confounding my eyes. The ears are pretty well done. The midriff is realistic in how you colored it, especially with the slight folds. The line coming down on the left doesn't really feel natural to my eyes, but I could see it working out in real life. I feel like that one line threw me off for the piece. In your previous piece, it looked a bit more realistic to me because it was a bit more subtle. However, I'm going to attribute this to style since it works with the way you defined everything else in the piece.
I really like the mist, it feels like she's there on a stage dancing with special effects. I'm not sure about the hanging chains of silver plate thingies coloring wise, because I feel like it could use a bit more shading, when you compare it to the rest of the piece.
Although, I feel like what I pointed out is mostly personal preferences. I hope you don't mind that, especially since I have a strange way to interpret things. I hope you aren't offended. You seem to have improved a lot compared to your original, so your skills have definitely updated in a good way. Your style is really well defined, from the way you draw your eyes to how you incorporate in texture and make it look more realistic. You spent a lot of time on this and it turned out well, so that's what matters. Good job, dude!

I just love that you used the word "Chiaroscuro." ❤️❤️❤️ I'm having art history class flashbacks. 😁

Breathtaking. The detail is amazing. Every fine bead, and the shading just makes this so intoxicating. The movement and the curve of the moment. Just stunning. Wow wow wow.

this is a good image, my only complaints are the belly, it looks too wide, and the left arm, the elbow doesn't match the bone structure. This image has good depth but that ends in the left arm's accessories, that's all I can see :v XD but any way, this is a good image, you can chose whether to listen to this comment, or not :v everyone with their own thing right?

This is a beautiful image drawn with great skill. It has a great range of shapes, colours, tones and textures all of which add interest and invite the viewer to spend longer enjoying the fine detail. I like the way you have allowed the figure to extend beyond the boundary of the background - it gives a more 3-dimensional look creating the impression that the figure is closer to us than the background. I only have a few small suggestions for improvement. The first is light source. The arms and face have clearly been lit from below but her breasts have been lit from above. The second is the thumb of her left hand. I couldn't work out why it bothered me so I tried to recreate that hand position. If you try looking at your own hand from that angle you will see that opposable thumbs are at a 45 degree angle and fold up to the base of the fingers. My last suggestion is about the tattoo on her hip. While aesthetically I would prefer not to have fold creases where you've painted them as a photographer I know they are unavoidable in that pose so well done for the realistic touch there. However those folds would also distort the tattoo more than you have shown. These are all minor points and as I said at the start you have created a beautiful piece of art.
