Certainly not a member of the fellowship but Quickbeam satisfies my urge for something Tolkien.What started as a doodle of an old man turned quickly "tree-ish".

I've always liked Quickbeam, and this is the first depiction of him I've seen. I like how although he looks gnarled and elderly he still has this vitality and energy to him that conveys his relative youth; I'd never mistake this for a drawing of Treebeard, for instance.

This is great. I really loved how Tolkein portrayed Quickbeam in LotR. Your drawing captures his personality brilliantly. I especially love his face. His ears and his nose are excellent. I really like the woody knurls as well.
