That third panel's pretty useless. It could have been used for an additional gag.

There was originally dialog in the last two panels, but I decided the joke worked well enough with visuals.

Good decision. And it would have worked just as well with a single panel; it's one of those jokes that comes with it's own setup.
I haven't seen anyone address that the mercs keep ammo in their canteens of all things. I find that pretty funny.

Yeah, I originally had planned it out like: "that makes no sense", "that makes no sense", "that makes--","wait, that one kinda works." (not literally that wording, but you get the idea.) I scrapped the dialog because I decided I could say that visually. Without text, the sniper's set up becomes redundant, and I coulda used an additional gag.
The canteen thing is funny -- and something I hadn't thought about. Then again, Team Fortress (or any game, really) gets really goofy when you over-analyze unrealistic gameplay elements.

this would be a hilarious mod to tack on to the MvM stuff, humorous cosmetics to denote what upgrades you have.
