Description This time, it is the turn to architecture (part of).
Although the process of the image is very advanced, still missing some items.
Modeling: Organica , 3dmax and Zbrush.

The trees are created, a tree generator, to design a few years ago. It relies on a system of particles, which can decide, different characteristics of the tree. (including the movement of leaves in the wind)

En esta ocasion, le ha tocado el turno a la arquitectura (parte de ella).
Aunque el proceso de la imagen esta muy avanzado, todavia faltan algunos elementos.
Modelado Organica, 3dmax y Zbrush.

Los arboles estan creados, con un generador de arboles, que diseΓ±e, hace unos aΓ±os. Se basa, en un sistema de particulas, en el que puedes decidir , diferentes caracteristicas, del arbol. (incluido, el movimiento de las hojas, por el viento)

It occurred to me that the particles could be used to create branches swaying in the wind.
There are libraries of trees, of great quality (I bought a bunch of them to use in my business)
but none does, the most indispensable to me: Let the wind moving the leaves and branches.
Model several trunks. The fill of thick branches. After using a complex system of particles, I request of my branch (full of leaves), animated by various modifiers. (I became an expert at this) After using several parameters of creation of particles, got to control the population of branches and leaves were completely controllable.
I can define size, density, color, leaf type, and ditribuirlas on the part of the tree that I want only.
the result is amazingly real. Especially watching the leaves move.
Rendering can be done with the render engine you want (within 3dmax)

So you set up your own custom particle system for the leaves? Very interesting I have used particles for a few things, but they are VERY versatile! I am going to have to try something like this, you've piqued my curiosity. Thanks so much for the explanation (and any more tips you want to share about this would be appreciated too )

This image is part of what will be the first image of Dune Steam.
Off course, will have color, characters Jessica and Leto Aterides and the spacecraft in the background.

es verdad... igualmente una gran maestria con que los manejas... espero algun dia aprender bien... por ahora pude llega a hacer el pasaje entre programas pero muchas veces no me salen muy bien los detalles tanto del normal como del displacemente... y eso es porque el uv no esta bien hecho.... tendre que focalizarme en aprender a hacer un buen uv...

El UVmap es importante. Gran cantidad de informacion se pierde por culpa de esto.
Solamente hago Normal map y displace cuando trabajo para animacion.
Al hacer imagenes fijas no me preocupa lo mas minimo cuantas caras tiene los modelos.
Tenga en cuenta que trabajo por capas y realizo los elementos por separado.
Es una buena pactica.

The render above all a matter of time. You should optimize your scene lighting. My computer is not particularly powerful.
