Were you perhaps influenced here by the Black Boa from the first Final Fantasy film? It has very similar lines. Regardless this a very nicely done concept and model. It could be either alien or advanced human in design. just wonderful!

I probably influences everything I see and like it.
Even if there are influences, not on purpose
Glad you like it!

Impressive concept -- I like it more in the clay renders I guess, where it's detail level and work of volumes really shine!

the kind of techno-organic shape of the ship reminded me of something the bydo empire from r-type would have in their arsenal..

just reminded me of r-type but could just be me >.>

One of these days, you should make a video, a recording showing the creation of one of your spaceships, from start to finish, I'd love to see how you work! Think about that, yes?
Congrats, once again!

This is really well done. Great detail, looks really realistic. (And if you like only positive feedback, stop reading:>)
There is one small problem for me (and I'm not a professional, so this is more of a general feeling). It looks like a model, not real thing. Not 3d model made with 3d modeling software. I mean real model in scale like 1 to 100. It looks like really well made model of a ship, one that you could put on your desk. It is done with great detail, but for some reason it doesn't look for its size. The amount of work you have put in it really shows. The small problem is my reception of it. I would never say its the size it was supposed to look like. Don't take it wrong way. It could be just me, and overall I like it.

Ha,ha ,ha No problem. I understand what he says.
Perhaps there is not much reference in size.
And maybe you think that some things seem screws or rivets ... but they are not.

What's Organica? I can't find anything on it. Can you direct me to it's page so I can check it ou. I'm assuming it's a modeling program of Organic-type-things but I've never heard of it before.

angelitoon In reply to LukeQuietus [2011-11-04 21:14:17 +0000 UTC]
It is not the only one.
I use organica since 1997 ...
Stopped selling a few years ago. the company which manufactures is closed.
It is a program specially designed for organic modeling.
but is based on modeling by metaprimitivas.
Is rarely used this type of modeling. nobody I know uses it ...
but I can not live without it.
