Very cool!  I enjoy making custom brushes.  I'm curious what is your process for developing a new brush?  Do you start with a photo or do you have another process?  Mine typically start from photos I've taken. That's why I ask.

It really is what I do.
This time, paint with a few real brushes on paper
and then take the photography
