SpeedEdit:Β www.youtube.com/watch?v=iv73vjβ¦Hi guys! So if you're familiar with The Swan Princess, you may not have known about their seemingly endless CGI sequels. I'm not a huge fan of them (although the trailer for the latest one looks pretty cool!), and one of the big reasons for that is its animation style. The newer characters look fine, but characters like Odette and Derek and Uberta, they all just look really strange in their CGI form, especially when they try to recreate scenes from the original film. Anyways, although the style has gotten a *little* bit better since they began working in CGI, I thought it'd be a fun experiment to see what CGI odette might look like if she looked a bit more similar to her 2D self! So using a still from the Swan Princess Christmas (which I haven't seen myself but based on my sisters' opinions is the worst of the newer ones), I decided to edit Odette! I tried blondeing her hair, reddening her skin, fixing her chin and cheeks, and tried to make her body seem a bit more full. I think it's a big difference, although still kind of jarring. Let me know what you think!
