The swirls and colours are amazing, this is very beautiful

I absolutely understand! Don't ever, ever worry about faving and not leaving a comment. It doesn't bother me in the least. I'm one of the type that believes 's are a huge compliment. Maybe because I'm pretty danged picky about what I put into my favorites. But, hey, as long as I feel that way, others might as well take advantage of it and just fave and run!

And since I'm already sending a message I'll say thank you for all the wonderful comments and favorites!

Hugs and love,
Anj

I'm exactly the same Anj, I love getting faves, and I too see them as VERY flattering and complimentary. It has never bothered me either that people may fave and run, after all, if you fave an image, it means you REALLY love it Sometimes we just don't have the time to write comments, and I completely understand this.
I was once about to fave someones work (and run) when I read below their image that they said don't bother faving if you're NOT going to leave a comment !!!! Huh, WTF, I left his gallery and never commented or faved a single piece of his work.

*pssstttt They aren't hard to make... just Liz's modified plastic script and playing with transform #3 - moving it around and such... sometimes WAY out from transform #1. Then use master scale to zoom in on the part you want to render.)

Thank you for the compliment!

Well... it doesn't work on every fractal. Anita wrote a journal entry about how she gets results using this method. Somehow it depends on the variations. As she said, it seems the messier the initial fractal, the better the results. She uses the batch render script and then works through the flames. Me, I just do one flame at a time. I've worked with the script enough that I know when I have a flame that will work and one that won't. If the flame won't work, I just apply the script to the same flame until I get something that works.

Anj

Very interesting - when looking at the preview, I have an impression of something like a tie-dyed armadillo or a pangolin all curled up. When viewed large - I get awed by all the irredescent details. Must be what it's like to look deep inside a fairy's tear drop...

Poet - hardly. Most of the time you get the highly eloquent "that's so cool" outta me. But sometimes something clicks in a good way and you get this. Sure wish I could tap into it more consistantly.

Not to worry - you did say thanks for the s. Yesterday I was having that feeling. I remember writing and sending a moderately lengthy response. tried to go back to it for ref and couldn't find it at all. Just got lost in the dA ether I guess but it drove me nuts for a bit. I'm not quite old enough to start havin' these kind of problems.........

Pretty close I think... I have an unfair advantage - I use Foxfire and have the Google tool bar built in so I know when I've misspelled something as I type. Let me have a try at it.
