If there's a section where this fits better, please tell me about it.I'm in a class for perspective drawing at the adult education centre - I know the basics from school already, but needed something to kick me into actually practicing - and this is the first homework, a house in two-point perspective. Actually the assignment was only outlines, but I wanted to have it recognisable, and then before posting I added a bit of shading.
This is by the way NOT a good example what woodframe construction houses look like. Usually there is one (or are two) horizontal beams where a floor is, but since the framework here was re-used from a barn, this is not the case.

Das trifft es noch nicht mal genau... Die Scheune stand auf einem Grundstück ein paar Häuser die Straße rauf und auf der anderen Seite, wurde also komplett abgebaut, und die Balken später rübergeschleppt.

Ja, dass nenne ich recycling! Damals haben sich die Leute noch richtig Mühe gegeben. Das ist was ganz Anderes als Pfandflaschen zurückgeben.

Anyways, pretty cool work. And that is a really neat house! The wattle and dawb (sp?) look? Pretty rare these days...

Thank you! The house has been built by my mother's grandparents, and that was re-using the woodframe of a barn that had been "deconstructed" previously.
I didn't want to put it in "landscapes" because it's just one house.
