Description
Original Shounen-ai manga 'These Fragile Roads' Read HereΒ tapastic.com/series/These-Fragβ¦I've redrawn all the previously uploaded pages of the first chapter and have now moved to tapastic. I won't be uploading to smackjeeves anymore. I hope to work on this series as much as I can between commissions and atm I'm hoping to submit pages in a batch of 4-5 each time.

Woah! Amazing. Something like this is what I'm trying to aim to π Seeing such a great work makes me realize how much room I've for improvement.
By the way, did you draw this cover manually or digitally? Lately, I'm searching for different inking methods and I still can't find what's the best for me. How did you discover which one fit best your style?

Thankyou so much! I drew it digitally. Well, I'm going to be making a series of tutorials very soon covering the basics of manga creation to the more advanced stuff so hopefully that might help you out a little. For now, though the best answer I can give is I chose my inking style based on trial and error, but I'll be covering it more in the tutorials.

I'm looking forward to those tutorials of yours! The problem I have is that I think that I get tense when inking and the results both in traditional and digital inking are quite mediocre. I'll keep practising both then. Thanks for your answer

There called screentones and are used in all manga. It was created using clip studio paint ex which is a comic creation software.

I am so excited to see how this story will develop, keep up the great work! And whilst it's important to set goals for yourself to keep updating, don't feel too pressured if you run off-track every now and then~

May I ask, did you draw the backgrounds manually (Like that panel with the school building), or did you get help from a software? owo

thankyou so much!Β (*β§β½β¦)
Sometimes I draw them manually and other times I'll either use 3D models for reference, or in the case of the school building panel, using a pre-made background.

Drawing them manually seem like a lot of work w @ DidΒ the pre-made bg come with the program you used to draw this manga? What program did you use?
