Program used - Paint tool Sai.This is just a quick tutorial on how I do soft shading. This is the first one I've ever made, so sorry if its bad IDK.... If you have any questions feel free to ask

I don't really know where "gradient" is, can someone help me? I use SAI

You create a gradient using the airbrush tool at a large size. Make a new layer above your base color layer and click "clipping group". This means it's attached to the layer below, and you can only paint on the base color. Make the airbrush tool a larger size, and then use it on the clipped layer! I hope this helps!

How do you make a gradient especially if you are a sai user?
Just pink one side and grey tone on the other and blur with blur tool?

I haven't used photoshop to colour for a very long time so I'm not entirely sure. But maybe try downloading some custom brushes from here or elsewhere for photoshop and hopefully you might get something similar.Β
