Description
This is my version of the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.I drew it with pencil and colored it in photoshop - I tried to give it a kind of old, parchment-like feeling.Β
All text in the picture is written in manuscript ink.

I really like this piece because it pays attention to even the most minuscule detail while still managing to keep it fairly simple. As one of the less recognized characters in Alice in Wonderland, you definitely gave them justice!

Well, I didn't really mean it to be creepy - my intention was to give it a kind of old-fashioned fairytale-like feeling. But I'm glad you like my style!!

It definitely has your intended feeling, there's just something Burtonesque about it that makes it more adult-like somehow. It's kind of like John Tenniel's work, too, which goes good with this Wonderland character.Β

A lovely picture. I adore the color palette, the feeling of movement, the worried / nervous facial expression of the rabbitt. Being someone who is usually late, I can definitely relate - didn't mean for this to rhyme, it sort of did by accident. Miss Ann Sofie Vejs, you are one talented artist. Well done. I will be more than delighted to keep an eye on your creations.
