Third Place!

It's finished My pas de deux entry for the LGBT Pride & Support Show . This took me such a long time (doesn't look like it, I know), I'm not sure I'll be able to crank out any more drawings for this show I want to though, so I will try.

"How the hell do you do dressage to metal?" Jesse asked Rush, who was adjusting his rainbow-coloured cape. Rush looked up.
"Just like you do dressage to other music, I think," he replied, running his hand through his hair before putting on his helmet. Joachim suddenly came over and asked, "how is zis?" Rush tugged his baggy green shirt into place a bit, then nodded and said, "put your helmet on, we need to get the horses ready." Jesse huffed, watching them walk away (followed by numerous curious eyes because you don't see someone in a large, tattered rainbow coloured cape every day. Not even at an LGBT show, I don't think), then went to look for Axel. The bright red hair wasn't hard to find, and Jesse started towards it. He stopped, however, upon seeing that Axel was chatting with Jackie from the RM team, and raised his eyebrows with a smirk. He wasn't in the mood to interrupt a conversation between those two, so he trailed after Rush and Joachim again.
"Do you need some help?" he asked Rush, coming to stop by them.
"Yeah, can you put this on Dreamer?" Rush nodded, handing him the large red, orange, and yellow blanket. Jesse did so, humming to himself softly.
"Vhy do I have rainbow coloured tack?" Joachim grumbled as Rush brushed his hair.
"Why not?" Rush replied, tugging at his shirt a little more.
"I'm not...uh... gay," Joachim admitted. Rush raised his eyebrows and huffed, "oh? That's news." A deep red blush crept up Joachim's cheeks and he looked down, fiddling with his bracelets.
"It's alright if you're not, we just have to match," Rush said, patting his back, "let's go warm up." Joachim nodded, taking Dreamer's reins, and they walked out. Jesse looked after them, and chuckled, seeing Dreamer shake his head in attempt to get the horns that were on his head off.
"Oh dear," he sighed to himself, heading back towards the edge of the arena.
