Speaking of slavery... I've heard this Alt-right YouTuber make this really fucked up argument about slavery.
Apparently the Atlantic slave trade was a good thing that black people in the US should be thankful for. Because the slaves in Africa would have either been killed or sold to African buyers and have their descendants end up living in Africa, had they not been purchased by Europeans/ Americans would have ended up surviving (if the living conditions didn't kill them) and their descendants would be living in the USA. So it was a net positive, he argues. He's one of those white ethnostate people btw

Basically, the YouTube atheist community has seen better days. Race realism has become the new hot topic, succeeding anti-SJWism. Religion/ creationism etc. has long been abandoned, except by a few younger channels, largely speaking.
Basically Race realists believe that human races are actual biological catergories, and that there are major differences between "races". One of their claims is that there are hereditary differences in intelligence between "races". I must admit there is some evidence for this, but I'm not made up in my opinion either way. IF it's true, it still wouldn't justify anything. It's that he argues that given this, we can stop white guilt for the problem of minorities (esp. blacks) by the explanation that they are poorer due to their lower average intelligence.
But those slaves were POWs, and would otherwise be killed by their captors from competing tribes. Not exactly a happy life in Africa.
