You probably remember this:anonymousllama428.deviantart.c…
Well, for some reason I happened to have scanned this in twice. I'll upload the second one too. It's the exact same, but hey.
I'll reiterate:
I recently dug up my old PC, and found an old drawing by me. I scanned this in on the 15th of November, 2014. Damn life was simpler then.
From when I first got interested in KAYV LAYANZ .
The composition goes as follows - a KAYV LAYAN (Panthera spelaea) is strolling through the snowy Pleistocene landscape of Siberia, near a cluster of fir trees. In the background, a cave hyena (Crocuta crocuta spelaea) senses the ineffable and intractable epicness emanating from the KAYV LAYAN , and knowing he cannot compete with such high concentrations of epicness (a pE value of -1), runs in the other direction.
The KAYV LAYAN is too busy being epic to pay the hyena much attention. He has the business of being epic to tend to.
In the background, an unfinished herd of woolly mammoths (Mammuthus primigenius) is moving. The brown scribble is some random woody bush-thingy.
I sued some pretty basic coloring pencils, and the KAYV LAYAN 's colour is off, as the hair paper wasn't published then.

For some reason one gets the impression that Cave Hyena has just put one over on old Leo (possibly by spotting a scrap of something edible that Big Cat has missed while in the process of being EPIC).

Well, that's a possibility; I didn't think favourably of hyenas then as I do now.
I wouldn't be surprised if the KAYV LAYAN didn't notice; being epic is a very demanding task.
