Hey all, this piece was recently previewed on FFGs website. It was created for their up & coming Imperial Raider expansion pack. Cant wait to receive my copy. It looks so cool!Hope y'all like!

One day, I learned that only a few of these were ever made. Shortly after The Phantom Menace, I imagined Darth Vader made his, as he made a Podracer and C-3PO. But then I discovered that he managed to snag a TIE Advanced x1 for himself.

I think I read somewhere that he likes to modify his TIE Advanced fighter. That's Vaders hobby when he isn't hunting jedi or rebels ;D

I'm sure that this is probably an Imperial TIE pilot's wet dream. Too bad that these are only destined to go to the best of the best of the best, or whoever the Imperial bureaucracy considers to be worthy.

I can imagine many TIE pilots going NOOOOOOOOO!!!! upon hearing that! Is it any wonder that the Rebels probably had no shortage of pilots willing to join up? Serving under a government that cares more about saving money than doing their best to increase their rate of survival will probably do that!

There actually was an Imperial Ace named Shea Hublin, who was a TIE fighter ace until he lost half of his right arm and a leg to a rebel fighter ambush. After that, he commanded a TIE squadron from the bridge of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer named Kabalian Cross, and he earned the nickname of "The Rebel Destroyer". However, he fell out of favor with the navy's hierarchy for urging them to replace the TIE fighter with a shielded, hyperspace-capable Starfighter.
