Warp speed was finally within the grasp of humanity. The governments of the world began to see an easy and quick way to set up a network of long-range sensors out beyond the range of Pluto, designed to alert humanity if Spider-bots, or other intruders, came into the solar system again. A fleet of space cruisers were also placed on the drawing board to patrol the solar system and be ready for any further attack that happened.

Many women volunteered to be a part of the warp engines for the cruisers and the sensor deployment ships. It would take a dozen or more women per ship to accelerate them to warp speeds, but despite the physical pain involved they were eager for the role, and quite enjoyed the experiments to determine the optimal pain and saturation levels of the red liquid that were needed.
