The fog of dreams slowly lifted from Jenna's mind and she gazed once more at the humanoid robot, her limbs immobilized by thick bands of rubber. The glass tube had been lifted from off her and off of two other women on her right who were also staring at the robot. Jenna noticed that all the other women in the room were now gone, the glass cases and confining pole stands gone as well. They were the only three humans left in sight.

"Humans," it said, gesturing to the women with both arms, "Certain parameters of our mission here have changed. The time for examination and study has passed. Other needs have become more critical. The SpiderBot Empire has need of you in other ways. The other women in our storeroom have already been sent to the required facility. You are to follow them and aid in our conquest of your world."

Jenna stared at the thing in bewilderment and horror. Hadn't she escaped this nightmare? Where was the attractive police officer she was now dating? Her body would not move below the neck and she felt a shiver of cold fear race down her spine at what was in store for her now.
