Thus we have synthesized much food for you, and for the other women we have captured, to consume in order for you to remain strong and healthy in our service." the robot continues as they passed a room full of large vats. Transparent windows in their sides revealed that they were full of a greenish gunk that smelled foul and that was piped out of the vats by tubes suspended from the ceiling."The other women have informed us that this food we have synthesized for you has a very unpleasant taste, whatever that is. Taste is not a sensory input that we are equipped for. Your taste sense organ is still being studied. It's workings are a mystery to us still. Perhaps one day we shall synthesize food that tastes pleasant. In the meantime you will be fully nourished, even if you are not pleased."
The women gulped in horror. The stuff smelled vile. It was sure to taste even worse.

Sort of, but they throw in everything since human nutrition is still something they know little about. They simply take anything edible from the farms, animal meat and vegetable, and throw it in a big blender type device then add in a lot of edible seaweed and water. Ever had to drink barium sulfate before a medical procedure? I did once. Strawberry flavoring my ass. Anyways, it tastes like that only instead of strawberry flavoring it would be more accurate to label it "asparagus and liver flavoring".
Someone needs to make a bacon flavored barium sulfate mix. That at least might be palatable.
