Two and a half hours hours later their next feeding time began. The air was getting hot as the cooling system worked overtime to compensate for the blazing heat the sun was sending out. All the girls were sweating profusely.

As usual a humanoid robot removed their gags and allowed them to guzzle tasteless nutrients from a hose. As the first girl to be fed that time, Becka pleaded with the robot to allow them to escape the doomed craft. They were not citizens of the Empire, she argued. Too valuable to be wasted like this, she said. Able to give the Empire strategic information, she added. The other three women gave similar reasons they should be released and allowed to flee the spaceship before the next hour and a half was up.
