First off there is not MMD version 9, second MMD v5 does not support direct X so some models like Charukos or the newer idolm@ster models wont have textures thus asking less of your computer and begin more user friendly.

Go try version 5 or re-download version 7.

tred, could it be that it can use only miku?
on this ver. can be used MMD fan models that are up on the internet for download

Hnnn... well there are other things you can try like cheeking what versions of MMD you have on your compy and deleting the other ones....... or you might have made a big mistake and downloaded the Japanese version of MMD..... but that is very unlikely to happen. xD

it says that i have to change the font or something but i try to rewrite it but nothing happened T________T

Use the only the letters in the regular English alphabet to re-write the name of the model and any folder that the model is in if non-regular English font is included.

hnnn... that weird, are you sure you are renaming the models right? (you won't believe how many people can't understand this)


Follow thees steps:
1) make a folder called 'model' on your desktop
2) add a model to the folder (and it's textures) [do not add the folder the model was originally in]
3) re-name the '.pmd' file to 'model.pmd'
4) open MMD
5) drag and drop 'model.pmd' into MMD


Did it work now?

I CAN'T RENAME THE PMD !!! EVEN IF I TRY IT DON'T WORK (i can't rename it)

*sigh* You say that you can't re-name the file and then it does not work? *curses/I can't do this with a hangover*

Anyways:
Please pick either a,b or c to describe what happens when you try to load a model into MMD:
a) MMD says to change the font
b) MMD crashes with a response 'that it just stopped working'
c) MMD will pop and error saying that your computer can't handle the model file because it is not capable enough

(If your answer was neither of them then please describe what MMD does after you try to load a model.)
