Well after way too many hours of working on this it is finally done!
I just had to do this picture after seeing this image: [link] . I really like Luna in a sailor uniform and I had to try out the style.
Now for my thoughts on the style and what it took. I really liked the style all in all. It also helped understand the more simplistic shading. The eyes where great and fun to create (for a change), and the colors for the eyes mixed beautifully!
A new tool I really played with was the water tool, and I have to say, I love it! It works great and it does wonders when shading hair. Now about the hair, I created that using an image of the night sky and if you look very closely at the bottom of the tail you can see the milky way galaxy (I thought this would be a really great and creative idea to actually put the stars into her mane and tail).
I did base heavily of the image made by sallymon (the mod of Ask Gamer Luna). So go check out and his awesome blog!!
