Borg Ranger!

This is based on conlimic000’s artwork where the Zeorangers were defeated and turned into mindless cyborgs, but I made this different.

When the new generation of Zeorangers went into duty, they defeated many monsters, and that frustrating the Machine King. In his rage which caused some of his minions destroyed, he came up with a brilliant evil plan. Why fight the Rangers if they can fight each other? He searched the database of previous battles and came up with a perfect victim.

The Machine King himself went to Earth to ensure the success. He then confronted the Gold Ranger who cockily said that Machine Empire’s days were numbered. The king laughed instead, making the Ranger distracted when a gear-shaped object rammed at his helmet.

He tried to remove it, but to no avail. The gear started to dig into the helmet by releasing metal cables. Inside the helmet, the helpless Ranger fought a storm of cables and tubes, all preying on his brain. And then, they succeeded. The cables plugged themselves into the poor Ranger’s brain, trapping his mind in endless nightmare while his body was slowly taken over. Nanites spread all over him, converting the hero into Ranger-machine hybrid killing machine.

The gold on his suit turned into dark metal grey while others into evil crimson. He stood still before speaking in monotone, “MetalRanger is your slave, My King.”

The Machine King laughed at his work, and ordered the mindless Ranger to hunt his own friends.

RedZeo couldn’t breath as his neck was choked sadistically by his former friend. He desperately tried to break whatever evil mechanisms which turn Gold into enemy. But his actions was futile. RedZeo was lifted high in the air before another gear-shaped parasite attacked his chest. As the cables and tubes began to spread, his freedom would soon come to an end. He would end up like Gold Ranger, mindless and ready to hunt his own friends!
