I thought it was weird, yet cool, how Yamask carries around the face of its former self. Kind of odd to think that you are catching peoples' souls as battle tools, but no less creepy than Chandelure's ability to burn up peoples' spirits.

Wow, I never thought PokΓ©mon would get this.... dark. Like purgatory for trainers is that you have to spend the afterlife as one of the creatures you used to catch and battle with, and you constantly have this reminder of the fact that you are dead.

What happens if you capture a Yamask who used to be someone you knew who had recently died? Like wouldn't that be really awkward? Like what happens if it's like your dead grandparent or the guy who you went to highschool with who died in a car accident?Β

Although this isn't going to make any sense to you, I am seriously reminded of the cover to the first Animorphs book. Like, where the human head transformed into the iguana head, but before it did so it turned into this creepy mask thing? Yeah.
