I'm a Christian and I agree with you because people who are super devout bother the Hell out of me with their snobbiness and looking down on others for ludicrous reasons.

I'm in the middle. In fact, one of the reasons I'm religious is because if God isn't real, then good people who suffer die suffering, and that's it, and bad people who prosper die prospering, and that's it, and that scares me, so I believe in God.

Both the left and the middle - although I don't think it has to be connected with religion. I saw once some statements made by a person, who was declaring herself as an atheist, and was claiming that without religion world would be better, because then everybody would doing good things due to the reasons represented by the middle figure here.

I have never been religious, but the one in the middle pretty much sums up my perspective as well. (The one on the left is true, but a bit tautological! )

Part of my brain tells me middle, Another part tells me right, but deep down, I know that they are the same thing if you really stop and think about it, so i'm going with left, even if i am religious.

I'm the left, but I do it for the middle reason.
I think both religious and non-religious people can be good because it makes the world a better place.

While this is true, you are kind of glossing over the one even further to the left who doesn't believe that the word "good" has any meaning, and so being a "good person" isn't something you should even bother trying, since it has no universal value, and should only participate in society's concepts in and as far as because they will in turn benefit you.
Ironically, those people in actual life do try to be good people generally anyways, so it's questionable to what degree they even believe what they're saying.

Ah, you're referring to nihilists I believe. Or at least I think that's the correct term. I suppose you are right. Looking back, I should have added a fourth category. "Too Much Non-Religion"? Nah, cuz people who aren't religion at all can still be empathetic and behave in a moral manner. Hmmm..there's got to be a word for this.

I tend to lean between right and middle. I care a lot about making the world a better place, so immoral people tend to piss me off.

I have friends like that too. Makes for interesting talk though. Me, I'm more or less middle/slightly to the left. For me it's more like 'Being a good person so the world is better and my crappy day can get done faster'.
