Description
This was a c...ca... ceal.... something meaning "mermaid-with-octopus-legs-rather-than-fish-tail." Like Ursula in Disney's The Little Mermaid? A Cecaelian! That's it. I first drew it with the words "Flaunt your differences" at the bottom, then I added a shark and a spear and changed her expression. Now she is still the only Cecaelian in a pod of mer-folk, but she is also thier hero as she slays the shark...I have no specifics for the shark, just that it's I did it from memory....... so it sucks >.<
Anyway, this is for *color-me-club 's January lineart contest. The winner's lineart will be the subject of the February open coloring contest for all Deviants, not just club members. The voting is open in both contests.
Pen & ink 3hrs. PS for the bubbles & clean up 1hr.

Sharks rock my socks. I watch shark week every single year. Gah, they are so pretty and so amazing. ^__^ Very nice line art. I may just add it to my list of ones to color ^^

I'd try adding visible suctions onto the octopus legs..I think they need them.
