Out of the two CDI games, I seem to prefer 'Wand of Gamelon'. Yeah, I know that sounds weird, since they're technically the same game; that would be like comparing one moldy orange to another moldy orange. But I say that because WOG, strangely enough, feels a little more like a proper Zelda game. Sure, the enemies are the same for both games, but WOG has more references to official Zelda lore than 'Faces of Evil'. For one, the triforce of courage is referenced and the triforce of wisdom is constantly seen, wielded by Impa of all people. Three of the bosses are based off of traditional Zelda enemies, that being the Gibdo, Iron Knuckle and Wizzrobe. To be honest, that makes WOG a slightly more tolerable game by comparison; well, I guess the fact that Link doesn't talk as much helps too.

I bring this up because I seem to reference WOG a lot in the fan art I've been making lately. IDK, I seem to get more inspired by that game compared to its sister game. For example, I feel more compelled to draw the NPCs from WOG because I like how unconventional their designs are. Water Lady is a good example of this, the only downside being how loud her outfit is, I had to make the shadows darker so that that neon green wouldn't be screaming at me.
