I recently got this idea to redesign the main characters from Video Brinquedo's 'Little Princess School', since the majority of them are just badly animated clones of the Disney Princesses. Finally, the last princess, who also happens to be my favourite: Hime.I mainly like Hime because of the fact that I'm a sucker for anything based off of the Asian continent, especially feudal Japanese fashion. So, I mainly focused on adding more detail to Hime's kimono, changing up the hair and giving her a more expressive face. Overall, I didn't change a lot about Hime's appearance because I liked how she looked originally; but I'm still happy with how she came out here.
In conclusion, this was a fun little exercise as I pretty much had to improve every aspect of each character. And it was interesting trying to come up with design inspirations for each of them as well.
